Dr. Restrepo-Kennedy is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Dr. Restrepo-Kennedy completed her DDS in Medellin, Colombia working in private practice and community service for 14 years before coming to the University of Iowa where she obtained her MS and Certificate in Operative Dentistry in 2012.  After completing her studies, she joined the University of Iowa College of Dentistry as a visiting assistant professor and in 2013 she was appointed as a Clinical assistant professor. Dr. Restrepo-Kennedy has a heavy teaching component with predoctoral students and participates in the Faculty General Practice with patients.  Her interests are teaching in the operative and biomaterial course, longevity of direct restorations, whitening, and the application of caries management in the pre-clinical and clinical components.  Dr. Restrepo-Kennedy is a co-inventor of the Educational Caries Teeth.
